Our Products
We use only FDA approved face / body paint for the skin. These water based formulas are specifically designed to be hypo-allergenic, gentle and easy to remove with mild soap and water. The brands we use are Snazaroo, Mehron, Wolfe Brothers and Paradise. We use only skin / makeup grade poly glitters. Have you ever wondered why cosmetics such as lip gloss and liquid foundation never mold? Cosmetics contain antimicrobial perservatives. Cosmetic grade face paint that contains this type of preservative inhibits the growth of microbes, while being gentle and safe. Our brushes and sponges are cleaned regularly with antibacterial soap.
Our Face Painting Policies
Ages: For your child's safety, we do not paint the faces of kids under 3 years of age. Paintbrush bristles are held together with metal and wood and can be sharp. Not ideal near the eyes of a wee wiggler. We're happy to paint a design on a little arm for kids under 3.
Skin: We can't paint skin with any kind of condition such as conjunctivitis, cuts, sunburn, or other rash. Feel free to request a patch test for overly sensitive or allergy prone skin.
Willingness: Under no circumstances will we paint anyone who is unwilling. Face painting is supposed to be a fun and enjoyable experience and some younger children are understandably frightened by a stranger touching their face. We also can't paint children who are asleep.

Gina is an honors graduate of the Art Institute of Houston. A fine artist as well as a graphic designer, Gina has been an art lover since childhood. While Gina loves her work in the creative world of web and graphic design, she longed to have a paint brush in her hand again. That coupled with her love of children was the catalyst for founding Zanypaint. With 2 youngsters of her own (often her models / practice heads) she has all she needs to create little smiles.
